Hi hello—
I wanted to do a quick little update blog post. One of which is that I’m going to do these posts every Monday again. As the series title suggests. June was a month, ha.
Anyhoo, onto the plans for July!
I’m working on some edits to Penn and Sword which will be updated by mid-month on the website. I’m also thinking about posting these chapters elsewhere, but still determining where would be appropriate. If you have any ideas about where to post serials like this so readers can read for free, let me know!
As far as serials, I’m also debating starting another series on here as well. I’d swap out one story each month so I’d have two continuous stories going on here. Still debating this, since it would be a lot of planning. But I think the deadlines would help me get this other story going and it would fit this platform well, I think. 😀
On the longer-form front, I’m working on the rebrand of A Series of Souls. Not sure I officially said it on here, but yes, I am rebranding A Series of Souls and thus going back and prepping the first few books for said rebrand. I’m going to be adding a few chapters to episode one and then repackaging. I’m also reworking episode two a bit. It’s always felt a bit long to me, so I’m thinking I’ll split up the plot a bit to make it into two separate books. Then episode three is getting a full rework. That plot might be pushed a few books down the line.
On the shorter-form front, I’m still working on short stories, but haven’t shopped any around recently. But! The Feisty Felines anthology with WordFire Press is launching at the end of the month! Pre-orders for the book are live as well. It’s so pretty! 🤩
So, lots happening! And all still in my court. 😅
I’m hoping to start sharing actual content soon though. I’m picking up on IG again and maybe going to try short form videos again too. Depends on energy of course. That’s been its own saga… I’d love to see you over on IG though! Let me know if you’ve liked Penn and Sword so far and what your favorite bits are. Love hearing what readers think. 😁
Okay, enough with the emojis. I have to get back to working on all these projects.
